Some just can´t accept the fact That the ´Canary´ that they backed, To fly up this league With no sign of fatigue Does not always keep up the act But please do try and realise For a club of our stature and size, Many years will go Before we will know What expectations we can rise The surprise factor last year has gone And our manager then has moved on, And this year so far To be where we are Shows Hughton has not done much wrong For some, his caution is a pain But for him it´s a cog in his chain, While Lambert would please It´s like chalk to cheese But all meant for our long term gain Promoted clubs in their new dawn Will never take this league by storm, Just to keep ones seat These days, is a feat And really ought to keep us warm But always there are those who´d like Us to run before we can hike, And if we can stay When we get to May Next year we may see a new psyche. Well said RBF, though I fear those to whom this is directed will turn their usual deaf ear. We are all entitled to an opinion, we are all entitled to disagree with someone elses point of view, but honestly, some people want to disapprove everything, even to the point now, that when we beat Man U and Arsenal, we were still playing rubbish but the opposition was poor! Unbelievable!
Not trying to preach or lay down the law dave, I just think that some people seem to be expecting too much, I mean, although we´ve almost had two years up here, we´re still nowhere near being an established Premier League side yet, we´re still finding our feet. Wait until we´ve been up here for 5 or 6 years, then perhaps we can start raising the expectancy levels.
