I am still baffled this morning as to why Torres wasn't given a second yellow card for the blatant trip on Johnson yesterday. I heard a call from a City fan on 606 last night saying exactly the same thing and Jason Roberts came out with, unfortunately you are going to have to deal with that as you will get it all season. This is frankly ridiculous, as there are not two rule books - one for the top teams and one for the rest of us. I realise its a well known fact amongst the fans that the big teams get the decisions, but when a player comes out and says it, you really have to wonder why something is not done about it.
Will the F.A charge Roberts with misconduct for basically saying that refs favour the big teams? If they don't, then surely they're accepting that what he said is true!
If Torres had of been sent off (the ref looked almost embarrassed that he didn't send him off) we could of gone on to win that game.
In 3 league games, we have had 3 penalties against us with 2 red cards as well - arguably 2 of those pens were not right and both red cards were not right. Surely to god this is not going to happen for the rest of the season?
