Why was the Bullard compensation thread closed?

@ DMD. I don't understand why you closed this thread after only two replies?
You said; "Plenty of discussion on this already." as the only reason to close it. Shouldn't the posters be the judge of what we talk about?

Ok we've talked a lot about it in the past, but this is based on today's HDM article which actually puts a figure of £2.5million compensation for the first time.
I also think it's interesting as a subject generally in light of the way Pearson casually walked away from his contract while the club is legally bound to honour the contracts of wasters like Bullard.

With respect I think you have gone beyond your remit as a moderator here. If something is general chat then you can move it, but you have no right to choose the topics we discuss.

Nobody's stopping anyone talking about it, it's just that there are plenty of existing threads to talk about it on.

People complain about too many threads on the same topic. If it's something you want to discuss there's no harm in adding it to an existing thread so all conversations can be had together.
