First of all, Vettel who has driven a superb season that has allowed him to become the youngest ever double F1 champion. Last season there were plenty of mistakes and incidents, this year he has been virtually faultless. Therefore, heâs definitely a deserving champ. But there can be no complaints about his domination that has brought about a title victory with four races to spare. This is the first time the title has been wrapped up with more than two races to spare since Schumacherâs dominant 2004 victory. That means weâve had six fantastic title battles that have gone down to the final couple of rounds, in the last six years. In 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010 it went down to the final Grand Prix. And, of course, in 2008 Lewis Hamilton snatched victory from Felipe Massa at the final corner on the final lap of the final race of the season. So weâve had some epic battles along the way and some incredible drama. Itâs almost as if weâve come to expect this, but we must remember that seasons of complete dominace do still exist in F1, perhaps we've just been spolit in recent years. And, besides, I think next yearâs battle could be a cracker! For another reason see: http://allsortsofmotorsports.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/why-we-cant-complain-about-vettel-winning-the-title-so-early/
