    If i was in charge, i'd make the only transfer window open from the last day of the season through to the first day of the next season..

    You got all summer to sort your squad out....

    It gives "selling" clubs a measure of relief from having their best players nicked, which is the only sensible reason for having it. But it distorts the market when time runs short (Carroll for £35M?) and should be dumped now.

    I would do away with transfer windows & tell clubs they can only spend so much per season

    The system is full of holes. You can sign non contract players for example or emergency loan players
