Why the hate for Pards?

I've noticed on twitter and not606 there has been a lot of hate for Alan Pardew but why??? He has done a good job, can't remember too many bad results under him and the players respect him. He 'identified' good players in the market. So what he sticks up for the board? They employ him and have given him a big job so why would he criticise them in public. He would only be fired. Anyway what better manager could we get? Joe Kinnear anyone?

 

I think the majority of people on both are still behind Pardew and unhappy with Barton. It's just the one's who are against Pardew and in favour of Barton are the louder ones.

 

I don't think many people hate him.

The fact that he has been rumoured to walk out clearly shows how happy he is with the ****s in the board.

 

Hes done a cracking job and is a better manager than Chris Hughton. Mike Ashley isn't as bad as people make out either.

Agree with this. A lot of fans complain with him, he has ran things pretty badly, but Id rather have him than some guy who gets us bust. I complain a bit too

 

I like him. He has a thankless task trying to mediate between a tight-fisted, devious **** and a demanding and expectant fan base. He of all people would've wanted that £35m spent, but when the board are telling him to say and do and mean different things it's difficult. The results have been exceptional on the pitch, especially considering the **** he's had to deal with off it.

I don't know why Barton's been brought into this, he wanted to stay, Pardew wanted him to stay and the two got on as far as I can tell. It's Ashley and Llambias interfering where it really isn't their business to.

 

I put a vote up on the Port Vale board, yet the options didn't show up. Something odd going on.

Barton didn't want to stay, he choose to go to QPR then spent the whole of deadline night laughing at us on twitter. Yet people defend him and Pardew which was the point I was making. Pardew cares more than Barton ever did.

 

He made a few horrible decisions at times last season which cost us points

Winding tiote up and sending him on at Stevenage. Saylor at rb against arteta and Simpson playin on the wing, then leftback. 3-5-2 at Stoke. Hoying gosling on against the mackems on the left. Perch at leftback away and in midfield at home against spurs. Smith against WBA (ok the capitulation wasn't totally smiths fault).

Having said all that, he averages over 1 points a game so i doubt he'll ever relegate us.

(ok these are largely down to him beig hung out to dry by his boss, but why make promises you have no control over? ****ish behaviour)

That's the key for me. I think he probably couldn't believe his luck when he got offered the job in the first place but over time has really enjoyed his time here and his celebrations when Tiote scored THAT goal last season, Raylor scored THAT free kick at the SOS and Sammy scored THAT winner shows just how much he does care about the club and everything that comes with it.

 

I haven't seen any hate for him on here in a while..

 

I think people hate him because of that time he punched that kid at the game
