    This is what we missed out on by getting relegated last season.

    With those kind of funds available those clubs coming down from the PL this time round will have to try even harder than we have to not go back up at the first time of asking.

    I'm hoping that the players are not very good at economics as the amount of money resting on success or failure Saturday week is truly jaw dropping.

    Something I don't understand about that article - it says the 3 year deal which started this season is worth just over £3bn in total, yet the TV companies have paid out £1.6bn for this season alone - I'll be a bit pissed off if we get promoted and the dosh on offer actually goes down again as they spread less than half of the pot over 2 seasons.

    I must be missing something.

    Unbelievable amounts especially for failure.....62mil for coming bottom in tv money alone.......with the plans in place we really can't afford a 2nd season in the championship.....
