After we got the 2nd goal (be it an own goal), I thought we should have removed Fer and brought on somebody. Fer looked knackered in the last 20 minutes. We had Nico and Ned on the bench, either one would have been fine, I think, Nico could have held the ball up with Joey up middle, and if Ned came on, he could have shored up the middle back. Or both. Ned probably could have come on for Henry, who also looked like he had ran ragged. Either way, we played damn well, and it looked like the boys were having real fun out there.
I was also pleading with Harry to make changes once we went 2-1 up. Vargas and Fer were both pushing inside and we had no width for an outlet. I'd have taken OBZ off, put Hoilett on the left and pushed Fer into the centre to give us an extra man in the midfield for those last 15 minutes.
I was calling for Zamora to be taken off for Hoilett. Then a few minutes later Bobby went and scored! (more or less)
Yup. And, we could have had somebody man-mark Aguero a bit more and shut down the middle lane and bounced him
