I know I may be a touch bias, but this is off the BBC website regarding ROI v Faroe

"But with McCarthy suspended and Paul Green and Keith Andrews both unavailable because of injury, Trapattoni's central midfield options were reduced and Hoolahan's impressive display against Georgia may have also forced the manager's hand."

    Paul Green! Keith Andrews?

Surely Meyler is the ideal man for this position?

Quinn and McShane on the bench.

No Brady? They're mad, he's one of the best Irish players already.

Slight injury nothing serious but enough to keep him out!

Strange that one. Then again Traps is playing St.Ledger in defence and O'Shea who is on a yellow card. He should have played at least McShane last night. Luckily for ROI they got away with it. Its only the Faroe Islands ffs. 3-0 should have been about 6-0 in the end at least. Pity that Austria beat Sweden though.

Been sent home on the advice of both the ROI and Hull City medical people. He needs rest so looks like the beach now for Robbie. <cool>

    Clever boy. <laugh>

O'Shea, Walters and Hoolhahan have withdrawn from the squad for the friendly v Spain in New York.

You'd expect at least 2 of our 3 lads to get a run out.
