Jonas had to tell Raylor what to do all night. He was ****ing pish!!!!

Santon should have been on at HT. All QPR attacks came from the right,if Jose was still here(dream.dream, dream) they would have had half the chances if not less.

All in all we got a point playing ****ing dreadful. From the start,Ba for Shola and Santon for Raylor and it would have been a diiferent performance IMO.

Pffft it would be complete stupidity to play a left back at left back... are you ******ed?

  3. We don't know how good Santon is yet, Pardew obviously didn't think it was worth the risk.

Santon should make his debut in the cup game IMO.

I know he wasn't good tonight, but on the flip side, Simmo put in his first good performance after 3 disappointing ones. Don't fix what don't need fixing yet.

Lets see what Santon can do before hoying him in.

Don't agree! Wouldn't of changed much and would have chucked the lad in at the deep end unnecessarily!
Few more days of training and maybe a home debut will do him the world of good!! Why rush the lad??

Seems like AP gambled on being able to give Santon more time yet and it payed off with a clean sheet but we would all be up in arms if the gamble hadnt

If SWP had pissed all over Santon the way he was doing Raylor all night the lad would be ruined .. good call to keep him out of that situation for his first Prem game .. SWP was on fire for his first game, he'll go off the boil now .. QPR this seasons Blackpool? - will play some blinding football with Taarabt in the team (real quality) .. but will struggle through the season as most of the team did look average ..

Lucky point for NUFC tonight .. <ok>

The way Raylor was playing, Santon could not of done any worse and that left side needed fixing tonight, lucky we didn't lose.

Think this is what Pardew will do with Santon and could also be the reason Ben Arfa is targeted for the Forest match.

It could have been a real baptism of fire for him had he come on considering SWP had an excellent game.

Good things come to those who wait!

  12. Nzogbia has been **** so far.

Simmo has been **** 3/4 games, but Raylor has one bad game and he should be subbed??

It would make sense to drop Raylor, especially for Villa against N'zogbia who has great pace just like SWP, can see Raylor getting ****ed over.

YYEESSS he should be... I dont care who you are, if you play that badly you get dragged off, forget about form... No other manager apart from Brucey would have accepted this....There is a reason AF is the best manager about as he takes no ****, he would have had no qualms bringing him off after 20 mins, and probably would have gave him the hair dryer treatment in the dressing room.. Raylor would then know next time to MARK HIS MAN AND NOT TO DIVE IN ON SOMEONE WAY FASTER THEN HIM!!!

    Totally agree with OP

I'm thinking that Pardew decided to give him a chance to see the speed of the football played in this league watching from the bench rather than throwing him in. Probably blood him next week now after that performance from Raylor.

We may not know how good Santon will be in the Premiership, but we know he is fast, and we know he has the ability to mark fast players. SWP had a great game, but so would most players who are afforded the space to run into whist being chased by a player with relatively no pace!

Ryan Taylor has had a couple of good games, but had he not scored 2 goals, would he be as popular a choice? I don't think so...Against Villa - Santon at LB and Cabaye to take set pieces!

Ryan Taylor wasnt the best yesterday and am not usually a fan but fort simpson played really well, SWP played really good, but Ryan made him look good by constantly getting sucked in and just making simply terrible decision...they identified him as a weak link...am glad santon didnt play tho, i know he played for inter and would of had a lot better opposition running at him but putting him against them with the pace they were playing could forced him into errors, maybe give him second half at villa to get up to speed then a start at blackburn at home?
