He went straight to hospital yesterday and they'll have known within an hour if he had a double leg break or not. I've seen the JFF tweets about him not having broken his leg, but I can't understand while all the news sites are running with 'Leeds Await News On Austin'. Why are the club not letting everyone know what the injury is?
Its a bit creamier than that (apparantly)!!!! Austin has broken his leg in two places, expected to be out at least 6 months. The United boss added: "I'm not devastated about the game but I am about Rudy, he has broken his leg in two places." Don't think they will publish any more until the specialist has decided what to do next.
That was Colin's comment immediately after the game though, the Jamaican's have since said he hasn't got a broken leg, I seems odd that nobody has confirmed what the injury actually is.

And they'll be wondering why crowds are dropping below 20,000. Didn't look good though, if it's not a double fracture then something must be damaged. Could even be ligaments. They must be telling us tomorrow surely.
Often times, they wait for swelling to go down befored doing scans, etc. They may have done x-rays right away to confirm no break, but one would think they would disclose that.
The statement on your OWS suggests it's not a leg break, you don't need swelling to go down to see if a leg is broken. It looks as if they're just waiting to find out what the injury is before releasing any info. It could still be as bad as a break, possibly a crutiate ligament injury. Hope he's okay, whatever it is.
Cruciate is longer than a leg break and with our medical staff its usually longer than the standard 9 months Sommas only just come back 15 months after his!!!!
What ever it is, he's a tad more than a doubt for the 'Wall game this Sunday. So who partners Brown in the cntre of midfield, or do we go 451 with Diouf in central midfield as an attacking CM? We could then have Hall out wide one side, ross for an hour out wide the other. Thoughts & no wumming please.
