Just listened to Cotts moaning and groaning about the chances the team had,why bring in Simon Cox who is without doubt the best finisher at the club and not play him. If the word i am hearing is right, he is not fit then why are we paying wages, for somebody to sit on the bench unfit. only bcfc could do this
Wait, how do you know who the best finisher at the club is? Do you watch them train? Cox's overall goal scoring record averages around 1in 4, hardly prolific for a striker is it??
His finishing is fantastic,i put a couple videos on here when he joined,Even the reading fans say if blackman was not scoring for fun cox would have been playing.
I was ready to drop Wilbraham on Friday if it were me- It wasn't and look what happened. Cox got brought on 84 Mins after Brighton scored- Had Brighton scored earlier he may have got more of a run out- Does that suggest to me that after 57 mins, we were playing for a draw?
Agree with Lanny and said when he signed, Cox wasn't a prolific striker. If he was then he wouldn't be here. Cotterill couldn't exactly drop Wilbraham after Friday and Kodjia is first on the team sheet. We've just lost to a team top of the league who are also unbeaten. It's probably one of the only few games we can get away with losing as most teams already have/will.
an edited youtube video would even make a Bristol rovers player look good.. His record in this whole career suggests he's not a prolific finisher
The two videos you put on showed him scoring, two goals. So based on your facts that he's scored two good goals in his career deserves to become the greatest goal scorer the club has got. Also based on your facts, why get him if he's not fit. Just rewind 12 months which you will see an unfit striker at the club who was classed probably by you as a waste of time. But then Matt Smith got fit he went on a scoring run and was the next best thing. You really are a silly man, and deserve the title of chief Plank.
I trust Cotts - certainly as far as attack is concerned. That isn't to say he won't make mistakes - he is human after all, but I trust him on Cox. He wouldn't have loaned him to warm the bench, but if he isn't match fit then playing him too early could be a disaster - if he got injured he wouldn't do anything at all for us.

You know full well we removed your Victor tag and awarded it elsewhere, as far as I am aware that was not reinstated to you in the others welcome absence! Besides Red Robin is much better placed these days to take the Victor crown..
Banksy may be planksy, be he is just a mere mortal of planks compared to RR Bit like comparing MDF to solid Oak
I don't see the point in loaning him out if we're not going to be playing him. Wilbs gets knackered gone 60 minutes so we should surely be looking to build up Cox's fitness later on in the game Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
agree great player just wasting away, however i rate wilbs big time as does cotts. cox would be great for the last twenty minutes.
I agree, Wilbs is a quality player but like Elliot last year, he is running out of steam and so we need to replace him when his energy goes rather than have him struggling on the pitch for the last 20 or so minutes Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
Simon Cox i'm sure has not come here to warm the bench,he will want game time. Don't have a clue when he will get a run out. But i really rate this guy.
Wilbs was great last season and still has a part to play - but it's not a FULL part. He should be an impact sub - not the other way round.
