I trust Lambo implicitly. The guy has obviously got something, but if his performance was really that bad at the portaloo then maybe it would have put Lambert off...

I would imagine James Vaughan knows a bit about him from Everton and so Lambert will be well aware of his strengths and weaknesses to alow a decision on whether or not to take a punt. Does make you wonder whether a striker or two might be on the way out come January.

As for Jutkiewicz it's doesn't make much sense because we're over staffed in that department, three of them being six foot plus.
