I trust Lambo implicitly. The guy has obviously got something, but if his performance was really that bad at the portaloo then maybe it would have put Lambert off... I would imagine James Vaughan knows a bit about him from Everton and so Lambert will be well aware of his strengths and weaknesses to alow a decision on whether or not to take a punt. Does make you wonder whether a striker or two might be on the way out come January.
Perhaps he wanted to watch a match. As for Jutkiewicz it's doesn't make much sense because we're over staffed in that department, three of them being six foot plus.
