Why is the Loft so silent on match days?

Bar a few "come on U R's" the Loft was rather dissapointingly quiet this last season.
I am sure if it wasn't for the R Block Bruvvers, there would be no singing at all.
I have tried to start a few chants off, but no one was really interested.
I wish the chanters would come back to the Loft.

Also where do we go for any new chants, are they online somewhere?
Someone should come up with a new chant directed at the board.
    (I'm not that clever)

Wasn't quiet in N Block where I was all season. Think you should sing up and get people involved around you if dont think its loud enough.

The Loft has never been so quiet as the Reading board today.... barely a whimper from the fakes all day......

A strong, positive atmosphere at home is very important. As I see it, we have a duty to our team to play our part from the stands. A fiercely loud wall of noise is worth a goal a game. I accept that there are those who want to come and sit quietly and watch - fair enough, but we do it sometimes, I just wish we did it more.

We need to rekindle that wonderful atmosphere that we had when we beat Oldham 1- 0 at Loftus Road to reach the play off final.

Andrew's right, it's all about standing. Seats keep you anchored down.

When we had terracing you could move around and stand among like-minded parts of the crowd. That got things going and not only in the Loft. Parts of the South Africa Road side always used to be home to fans not frightened to give it large too !
