That when we bring a player, from abroad with no EPL experience they need time to settle and adjust, we accept it and forgive them. When other teams do it they hit the ground running. Never undertood it.
take it your refering to sess mate? suarez doen't seem to have taken much time, so your point is proven p.s mate, we had some decent mags on here yesterday, different to bigknob downunder, glad you spread the word about cross board banter, and long may it continue
Sess, Da Silva,Muntari,Riveros,Angeleri, we seem to get loads then we see Suarez first hand, but he is not alone. Now I know about fitness, not playing and lots of reasons for taking time, just think that sometimes its a very convienient excuse.
Not sure if it can go on for much longer, not if mr short is as shrewd as we all believe he is. It’s also my concern about Hendo (well similar), him not being the finished article…… we need players that are the real deal and can play NOW
Hi, I'm not a very active poster but have been reading the forums daily for some time now... Anyway, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. It does seem to be an excuse to me, there are very few examples of this at other clubs (as far as I can tell*). Just look at Ben Arfa (same league as Sess) and Tiote at Newcaste, Luiz at Chelsea, etc - they all blended straight in. *I say as far as I can tell as it's possible other clubs have the same problem but we don't know about it... I guess if you asked a supporter of any other EPL team who Marcos Angeleri was they would draw a blank.
