That all the talk after the match is how sh1te Manure are and that Moyes is under extreme pressure but no body has given the lads any credit for playing well and getting an excellent result.
Whenever we beat a so called big club we never get any credit it's always how they had a bad day and our part in the game is totally overlooked.
I listened to the Five Live phone in on my way to work night shift and ALL the calls were from Manure fans bemaoning their teams poor showing and how it was never a penalty, the BBC guy never mentioned Sunderland once when I had the radio on.
It really boils my p1ss that we continually get overlooked in games where we deserved the result.
Rant over, well done lads and I think we can get the right result at OT.

TBF, they did give us some credit on Talksport, albeit grudgingly.

I've just been listening to the Alan Brazil breakfast show, and he said that he really hopes that Man U turn us over in the 2nd leg...I wonder what we have done to him to make him dislike us so much?

He wouldn't have gave the pen if the lino didn't flag for it, and even then he was reluctant.

Me too mate but it does still piss you off at times. Even if we get to Wembley and beat City we'd not get any credit for beating Chelsea, Utd and City to do so.

I give you credit, we didn't do too much wrong at all last night. Carrick and Cleverley couldn't create anything of note but aside from that I think we did ok, you stifled Januzaj who was our main threat and by doing that you managed to stop our only inventive player. Penalty looked clear cut to me in real time, not interested in going over it in slow motion as it's been and gone now so well done, credit to Poyet for some good subs, good debut for the new guy.

Well said lad. Utd still favourites for the tie but we have a chance.

I thought Larsson, Cattermole and Ki did an incredible job closing down Carrick, Januzaj and Cleverley last night and stopped them dictating play. That was key to letting our attacking players being able to do their job. We will need more of the same at Old Trafford.

Just a pity Moyes couldn't see that last night and it was a little amusing to hear a Man Utd manager complain about not getting referee decisions. To then follow it up saying they had to play the officials as well as the opposition now was embarrassing to say the least. Utd have played with 12 men for 20 years.

Great result last night. You will need to put a lot of effort into 2nd leg-run them ragged.Same strategy in FA cup.I like the way Gus is approaching this.

Surprising enough mate, I wasn't that interested in listening to his thoughts after the game, or anybodies for that matter! I think Cleverley could have been on that pitch on his own last night against your cat mascot and still lost the match, he was shocking, every time he lost the ball he waved his arms around as if he'd been hard done by.

The biggest positive for me was Vidic last night, he looked very decent, in fact I think he'd have cleaned up Johnson's attack if Cleverley hadn't lunged. Oh well, who gives a ****... Only football innit, I've a meeting this afternoon with a bloke from Liverpool, I can already hear the crap banter he's got written down in his pad to say to me... might just stick him in a guillotine choke to cheer myself up.
