Now Then.. I stopped smoking for 6 months the beginning of last year but started again like a pr**k does but why is it that when you have a beer, you feel the need to smoke like 40 ***s in a night? Is it me, is it you or is it the weather? Also, this new flexy hose that plumbers use when they fit a new toilet, why oh effin why does it keep getting blocked up? Is it the grooves, is it me or is it you? Nice to be back for the night & nice to see the 'Borgias' still fighting for control on here but more so on TV tonight.. Saw them in 74 at Newcy City Hall after the 73 concert was cancelled through Ozzy's ill health, tell you what one of the best gigs ever and loud doesn't come into it.. Before giving up smoking I used to have a pint and a couple of ***s in an hour's lunch. Gave up smoking and my pint was finished in 10 minutes. It doesn't take 50 minutes to smoke two ***s so where did the time go.
Alreet marra.. I haven't smoked for over 14 years now, but must agree that the biggest test of my will power was when I had a pint in my hand but I got over it eventually... PS...Great to see Bart back on here, his unique sense of humour has been a miss..
