In response to a WUM post made by HIAG 4 days ago I asked him to answer 6 questions. He still hasn't answered them, why ? Is it because he is running scared of answering some simple questions ? Is it because the truth hurts too much and causes him too much heartache ? It surely can't be because they are too difficult to answer as he thinks he is really clever, so what is it that prevents him from answering ? According to HIAG there is a Power Shift happening from Arsenal to Spurs hence I asked him the following: 1 when did Spurs last finish above Arsenal for 3 consecutive seasons 2 when did Spurs last win the FA Cup and how many have they won 3 when did Spurs last win the League title, and how many have they won 4 how many major trophies (not The League Cup) have Spurs won 5 how many managers have Spurs had since Wenger took charge of Arsenal 6 how many times have Spurs played in the European Cup or Champions League So HIAG stop avoiding the issue and answering the questions.
He'd rather make dumb pictures and talk **** about the imaginary power shift than actually talk about football.
Far be it from me to speak on HIAG's behalf, but I guess he knows that you know the answers already and are only asking them as a wind-up. Why would anyone answer your questions in those conditions.

nope. if there is a power shift happening [as per one of his many posts/threads] i asked him to state some facts to substantiate his claim. if he can't provide the facts then he is talking **** about power shift from arsenal to spurs. mind you if west ham finish closer to spurs than last season then there could be a shift between them and spurs
his point is we are getting closer to you. That is a shift of some sort. The elevation of pedantry to an art form by Piskie and you over the words Power Shift doesn't change the fact that we are more direct rivals to you than we were 10, 15 years ago.
but are you any closer, that is what we are trying to establish ffs, because imo i don't think you are, you had an opportunity whilst we had financial restraints but you missed it. we stayed in top 4 and you didn't catch or overtake us. now that our financial restraints are over and yours is to come then the gap will increase imo.
That's the future and speculation. 10/15 years ago we were mid to lower table, you were winning the league. That gap has diminished. I never said we caught up with you, just that we are closer than we were. In recent seasons we have gone into the last game with a chance of ending above you. That, for us, is progress. How'd you get that from "I doubt it"? Do you think Piskie will admit he is in love with HIAG? If you answer you therefore know him personally.
the problem is that all Spurs fans think that by finishing in the league close to us it is making them as good as us, when its not the same. you need to win a whole lot of trophies and be consistently above us in the league for the next 20 years to be considered our equal. SD you do seem to always be covering HIAG's arse, why is that ? i doubt if anyone loves Hiag and it could be that HIAG has unrequited love for Piskie ! anyway back on topic why is HIAG ducking the answers.

This is it in a nutshell. A couple of seasons of finishing 'a little bit closer' to Arsenal does not mean there is a power shift, it means the gap was a bit smaller, but that seems to be widening again. For any power shift to happen, the spuds would have to at least match our league positions and trophy haul over the last 20 years. Also it isn't 'pedantry' as SD puts it. It is trying to pin HIAG down to what exactly he means by power shift, because he tries to wriggle and squirm when pressed. On the one hand he says it would only take one season for a team to finish above the other for a power shift, the next he's saying it only needs the gap to close, then he's saying he doesn't know what it means, but 'something is happening'. He can't even remember what he has said or claimed and ends up tying himself up in knots. This is why we take the piss out of HIAG, because according to his logic, both Liverpool (who finished above spurs) and West Ham (who have closed the gap) could both claim to have done the power shift over the spuds. Also, when he comes out with claims like Arsenal will finish 7th with Palace challenging them to be the 4th best London club, is it any wonder why he ends up looking like a fool ?
