Let's face it, this has been coming. Nice guy and all that but it doesn't get you promoted.

He had no idea what his best team was, had his favourites like when England manager, played with no width, had no plan B and we struggled to play for 90 mins in to many games. We had a team full of central midfielders all wanting to play in the same position.

Yes he attracted good players but you have to make them work and with the cash he spent any half decent manager would have found some top named players. At the end of the day it is a business, like it or not, and we weren't functioning properly.

It wasn't awful most weeks but it wasn't great that often, derby and 70 mins at forest aside. Thanks Sven but I hope we can find someone to put together the jigsaw you were struggling with to often.

I'm not sad he's gone, but I didn't see it coming this week.

We had a world class manager and a quality squad but we just hadnt got a team yet. That does take time. There was signs things was starting to click before Matt Mills got himself sent off so i am surprised Sven went

1 thing this does prove is the owners do care about the club. Some people think they are all about advertising King Power but if they was they would of kept Sven as a big name manager unless they have another big name lined up

Was he really world class, not sure about that. 15 years ago maybe but times and football change.

But agree with your other point about the club, they really do care and want success.

you cannot keep sacking manager after manager and expect to get any kind of success...stability is vital... a bit of patience is a virtue...we have got learn this.

Have to agree with this I'm afraid. We can still achieve something this season, but it's going to be much harder now. Let's just see who we get.

No, having a good manager is vital.

Stability with a poor manager can be harmful.

Emilio, fans like me can remember a year ago that you were desperate for Sven to come in. Now he's a bad manager. Don't tell me you didn't know what he was all about before he came here.

Don't get me wrong, I pray that whoever come in is a success, but on the face of it, this is a disaster.

He was a good league manager 10 years ago, times change, he didn't. I whole heartily agree we need stability, but let's have this with the right man, he just didn't get championship football and we must replace with someone who does, then let's get some stability.

I have to say that this has been coming for a few weeks, i have never been a big Sven fan and you only have to look at that shambles on saturday to why.
He's been here a year and we are getting worse no where near the team that finished last season.
If it was my £20 million i would have done just the same only about a month ago.

Well, I'm never going to say Sven is the best manager in the world, but he is a good one. Whether it was the right decision or not depends on who we get instead, but I have to say I'm not impressed with the names we have been linked with.
