When the mata transfer broke and now chelsea's salah deal has been done, i came on here expecting to see (and wallow in) everyone's disarray!!! Yet no-one seems to be pissed off at all. Im fuming!! I know we would have not been able to tempt mata, but he has been sold to a direct rival for fourth place - not some foreign CL team. dont get me started on salah, a player we perhaps didnt need, but it would have been so good for fans moral (IMO) for us to buy him. and now just like that chels have bent us over! to make things worse we have not been linked to anyone else as heavily as salah, and when managers like wenger come out and say its a tough window for quality i cant help thinking that he's got a point and LFC are thinking the same! i cant take it anymore ARGHHHH *runs off into distance screaming and crying*

If LFC want to spend £11m-£16m on fans morale they can just buy us all a few pints instead Chelsea have wasted talent in Mata and money in Salah. Man Utd are no more of an issue than Spurs and Everton. None of them matter if we win our own games.
Neither transfer was ideal and there are seven days left yet. Nor signing players for fans moral a great idea. Most accept we will only sign the right player at the right price. Why gets pissed off if we don't break those rules?
I do think Mata tilts the scales of 4th a little towards Utd... but the window is still open and we are still ahead of them. Salah... I think he could of helped depth but not realty improved first team by a measurable amount. That's £10 mill we can spend on a position we need. If we don't get a DM this window I will be annoyed and suspect we won't get 4th... there is still time though.
Only one way I'll be pissed off this window with players coming in and thats if we don't strengthen the midfield.

RA has returned to buying LFC... that got him useless torres.. old benayoun and inferior merieles... and no CL. if we target someone like De jong i hope he goes and buy him and all...
I didn't even know who he was by name. Does look a good player. The deal was done with chavsky before I even had time to think about it. We might as well have never been interested as far as my awareness of him and our interest went. Rather happy we didn't get Willian last year, not what we needed

I agree in that there's nothing we can do but, I am concerned that we only have 15 players available to train this week and Rodgers says "there's nothing imminent!" Not what I want to hear or read!
This. Also I'm not convinced Salah is that great. His 'highlight reel' is mostly him running blindly into the corner flag or delaying passes far too long.
The more alarming quote was 'we already have enough defenders they're just all injured'. We could do with a couple of good fullbacks. Watching Cissokho makes me miss Djimi Traore.
