I went to a place called Heilbron and went into a square with a couple of bars !
Had a bit of a session on the ale with a couple of families !
We ended up taking their kids to the local shop and buying loads of panini stickers

Loving the current series of Spiral in spite of the sub titles.

Code Napoleon. You have to prove your innocence rather than them having to prove your guilt. Some good aspects, others not so.The people like Rabon have interesting jobs.

10.05 tonight ' Stanley Kubrick - A Life in Pictures (goes on till 12.25!)

In depth portait of Kubbers himself, not sure if Alan Botney is doing it

Just watched Gary Lineker's "My Grandad's war", following his Grandfather's time in Italy during the 2nd World War. Well worth watching, particularly if like me, my father was in Italy, he never spoke about his time there, and seeing what he likely went through I'm not surprised.

Most definitely worth watching. G.L. did a decent job of it - unsurprisingly quite an emotional situation for him.
Many ex-servicemen who survived any of the conflicts internalized their memories of the horror of being there. As you say, were reluctant to talk about it.
Hell of a burden for many of them.

I'm really enjoying this series, and I find the music at the start spellbinding.

It’s on gold not bbc but I’m watching an episode of Porridge. A night in
It’s still superb and even all these years later I still think what a tragedy RB died so young.

When nothing is on enjoying various subtitled crime dramas on Walter presents on All4. Have to use the streaming channel on phone, laptop or whatever to get the box sets,

Not BBC4, but Beeb 1 - "Gold Digger". If the full series is as excellent as tonight's first episode, then a tremendous drama to watch.

I watch it through an Amazon fire stick. You can watch old series that way and with a phone of tablet and transfer to TV screen. No facility on the normal All4 catch up.
Having to wait a week for the next edition of The Team, which is enjoyable. Using it to rewatch one of my all time favourites The Shield.
