Sat 16/05/15. Spurs v Hull City: Hull City performances can't get any worse. Spurs have played more games than any other PL side and looked a tired team in their 3-0 defeat to Stoke. Their defence is one of the worst in the league. Despite their poor form we should play Huddlestone and Livermore who both have a point to prove. If the players turn up with the right attitude expect at least a draw next Saturday. Sat 16/05/15.Sunderland v Leicester: Sunderland have had their fair share of good fortune lately and with Leicester on the run they're having Sunderland will do well to get a point next week. In theory, that's where their points stop and they know it. Their remaining away games at Arsenal and Chelsea should prove fruitless with Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourhino helping their mate Steve Bruce by dishing out defeats. Sun 24/05/15. Hull City v Manchester United: Ryan Giggs wants to give the kids a run out for Man United in their last game at the KC. That's no guarantee of picking up a point or more but it has to give the team a little hope. Job done.
We haven't scored goals all season and suddenly they are going to appear out of the blue Championship football is already cemented in my mind
We've only lost 33% of our games this season (13) We're the joint 7th most difficult team to beat in the entire league. We'll do well to get a point? I think we'll get a point comfortably, we usually do you'd notice if you dug a bit deeper. A win will be tougher but your reasoning can only be seen as clutching. Notice you didn't mention Newcastle at all. Very strange as they're likely your life line. Win both of your games and pray like **** to stand a chance of staying up is the only way you should be looking at it.
Good post, but I'd like to counter it if i may, hopefully as eloquently as you Reasons Hull City Will Be Relegated We're ****.
We are down in my mind but i will be there at spurs on saturday backing the team come on city time to show some fighting spirit
Nothing personal. Although Newcastle are playing xxxte I think they have a better chance of getting two or more points than you taking into account the run Leicester are on. If I had a choice I'd like both our teams to stay up. You never know, it might happen.
Even if, somehow, we are not relegated we still deserve to be. We are absolute dog-sh1te. The odd decent performance throughout the season doesn't gloss over the direness the rest of the time.
It's the Dour, Slow laboured build up that numbs the brain. There's just not enough zip or desire to our approach I wonder if the players have had the same mental approach that Bruce has had He said we needed two more wins, we got them but are in even deeper **** that this time a won't get out of Always aim for 40 points and don't take any notice of the know **** all pundits and statisticians
You're right we've only lost 37% of our games, I forgot we'd only played 35. We've only lost 13 league games this season. 1st Chelsea Lost 2 2nd Arsenal Lost 6 3rd Man City Lost 7 4th Man U lost 8 5th Liverpool Lost 10 Joint 6th Spurs, Swansea Lost 12 Joint 7th(or joint 8th if you're a pedantic and intent on splitting hairs despite being on the verge of relegation). Sunderland, Soton, West Ham Lost 13. Somewhere out of sight Hull lost 18 and Leicester of 19 Nice try splitting hairs, my point is still very much in tact. We're tough to beat, harder to beat than any other team in the bottom half. Fact.
Cant see hull surviving tbh...the three who are there deserve to go down. hope bruce stays and trys to get you back up but it's a tall order...
It must be fate. Allams will replace Bruce with Graham Taylor on a £1m a year contract (stipulating that it must be spent on turnips).
