pj says a captain isn't too important in football so why bother burdoning any player with it. The coin tossing could be carried out by whoever is nearest to the centre circle ( forward players). Leading the team out could be decided by whoever gets dressed first, or arm wrestling. Would you be allowed to not have a captain, or could you just give all 11 players an armband? Just a thought.
