Their fans' suffering continues whilst our joy and elation knows no bounds.

Let us focus on our pleasure in supporting the Saints for any pleasure in teasing the long suffering of Pompey fans just doesn't match up by comparison.

Let us just hope their trust is successful and leave it at that.

They absolutely are our rivals, but we all need to remember where to draw the line between football (a pointless sport, for fun) and actual real-life tragedy. If their demise had been purely for football reasons, I'd be laughing about it as a rival should. But in the recent history of Portsmouth FC, no one will remember the football. It's been an extremely poorly-run business, and many people have lost their jobs over it. This isn't football.

 

Well stop starting threads about them then. I'm sure they are sick to death of it by now.

 

When we were in trouble, some Pompey fans were laughing and now look where they are. What goes around, comes around. We would all be wise to remember that.

 

The fans aren't the ones really suffering. Oh boo-hoo the football team you support has been relegated, you must be really suffering. When we dropped to League 1, it was awful from a football perspective but the rest of my life went on as normal. It's only a game after all. People at Portsmouth FC have lost their jobs. I wouldn't quote the karma crap to them.

 

That was then and this is now. We can stop the cycle. To be honest, is there any real satisfaction in winding posters up like PL, PM, Hermanator, etc...?

I take a great deal of pleasure in winding up the Skates that were giving it plenty a few seasons ago, but the ones on here are alright,so apart from the odd jibe here and there,i have refrained lately.
Also it takes so long to scroll down to League 1 teams on here.

 

Yeah, my fingers still aching from visiting them the other day. Might have to leave it a while. They will be sad.

Funny thing is, even when you were in the EPL & we were in L1, he still couldn't get the reaction he wanted. Because at the end of the day, he's just a pest, & it was only a matter of time before PFC disappeared into our gigantic shadow.

Just tried to find the Pompey board,and for some reason it doesnt show up in League 1. Does this mean i have been blocked from posting on there,or is there some other reason. From what i can see they are the only board missing from all of the English teams.
