Pure coincidence that some Norwich fans follow football in general and not just our own team, perhaps being sociable in not acceptable to you but thankfully not everyone is the same. <ok>

I am guessing you are referring to the "nice article" posted on another thread. Nothing nice about it NB, I thought is unnecessarily defensive of the way Stoke play.

You hit the button likening me to that other creature you mentioned in your OP - he is as far removed from being representative of our fans or team as any Ipswich fan <laugh>
 
Humble apologies TC, of course I was thinking of Ipswich. It would be as bad as likening us lot to a Port Vale fan (soap and water).

In all seriousness, I like Norwich, fantastic castle and museum, some great places to eat and drink and a decent football team.

Did you hear about the IPSWICH fan who thought an innuendo was a spanish suppository?

As I personally told HOLT to jog off on that same thread.. well it ended in off Canary.

Pleased to know that not ALL Norwich fans want us banned from anything to do with the Premier League. I'll sleep much better in the knowledge that everyone hates anything associated with Stoke City FC. Re: I refer you to his thread in General chat and also the one on the Stoke board.

WELL done on the 3pts yesterday. <ok>

I have nothing against Stoke City or their fans, is why I venture over here occasionally, the same as most of us would be happy for you guys to pop over to say hello to us sometimes <ok>

I don't watch many Stoke games, 2 a season unless we get you in the cup so it's not entirely fair for me to comment on the style employed. Even if I did watch more I still maintain no team should need to defend the way they play, horses for courses and all that.

The little I have seen in the last 18 months is 3 very poor games with you and us and the football has not been pretty to view but hey, you are not the only one's that don't entertain everyone for 90 minutes of every game. I did see your game at QPR at the end of last season and sadly that too was pretty ugly viewing for a neutral but I see no need to jump on the band wagon and slag you off for it. The style has kept you in the top flight for a good number of years and looks like continuing that way, to my mind it can't be faulted although I am not sure I could endure watching every week, especially the way TP sets up for away games.
 
On the flip side, I thought Norwich were excellent for 70 minutes against Sunderland - nut once again they were poor and missed a clutch of chances.

I've spent some time on the Sunderland board since coming home, and before then. On the whole, the Mackem's are a decent bunch. And according to what are their own views not only on Sunderland but other teams they we're saying. " We were awful, in fact so crap 1st half it was some of the worse football they had ever seen from a Sunderland team"

2nd half I think Norwich struggled to cope with whatever Sunderland did throw at Norwich. End of Norwich did and IMO deserved the win no arguments from me.
But, they we're also saying "Norwich we're no world beaters" etc etc. Either way Smither's you and I both know that although neither of us will agree with most things concerning Tony Pulis. He is SLOWLY, slowly getting the lads to play a LOT more football.

Which is why I read the nuetral fans views and have a little smile to myself. YES we hoof it even now, but some of our football this season. Chelsea in particular was fantastic to watch. No one team is perfect never will be. My point being is the Pulis and or the player's seem to be PASSING the ball so much more than in previous seasons. I hear, the WBA game was not " Great to watch" but is that just Stoke's fault I'm also asking Canary? Or did W Brom do enough to "entertain" their own fans.

In short I think the answer must be a big fat NO they did not.

The question is, what was riding that Holt character?
 
Norwich will drop long b4 stoke even think of it ..
im not sure why norwich fans think they play carpet football with holt the bully up top that is a classic giggle but whatever... seriously who cares they are a very average team at best and there is time for them yet with there championship squad !!
If Snodgrass keeps diving down the right hand side who knows what can happen
not just against us ... take a look all fans .. every week he goes down for the free kicks on the right to deliver with the left.. gettin a repetative but true
