Quite simple really list you reasons for hating the Mancs, everyones got them!

When i was younger in school i had 10 friends (at least) who support utd and i was the only Liverpool fan, non stop **** from them after every weekend.

    Gary Neville

Their fans are the most arogant i have ever come across.

Claim that their success is mainly down to their youth policy and when they criticise teams for spending large sums of money they conveniently forgot about how they bought the title for years, but thats ok because they are Man Utd.

I cant stand the prawn sandwich library attendees. ****ers

This should be on the banter thread Somerset but seeing as you've added Chelsea, Arsenal and City I can't move it so we'll see how it goes. ;)

I don't particularly hate them to be honest. I don't give them that satisfaction - I prefer to just ignore.

I was the only Liverpool fan in a group of about 10 kids on our street. The rest were Manc fans and they only supported them because they won the premier league (to be fair, I only really got in to Liverpool when they won the '92 FA Cup). Year on year they get more and more arrogent, I pray at the start of every season that they get relegated.

My hatred has died down slightly lately although one of my manc mates on facebook does my head in, he is so blinkered (Although I did have fun with him for a while last season when Heskey had outscored Rooney). Every status update is about "Liverfool" & "LOSERPOOL" and how Rooney is the best thing to come out of Manchester since... well ever (I think he has forgotton that Rooney is, in fact scouse). eugh, he does my head in

I wouldn't say I hate Man United and they are certainly below the spuds, liverpool and arsenal in that regards. I dislike Fergie but have to admire what he has and continues to achieve up there.

Yes they have some arrogant fans but I think they are mainly the glory hunting types anyway who can be ignored.

Although I do have a problem with the footballing authorities that have allowed United to become the corrupt institution they are today. I used to respect Uinted for their success and the way they came back from the Munich disaster which almost destroyed their club. In recent times though there is not a lot they have to do to win games when they have the support of dark forces. Last season was a joke (not a funny one) Any united fan that can put his hand on heart and say they won the title without the influence of refs and united loving news corps is deluded.

I refuse to watch football anymore unless it's on terrestrial tele and I certainly won't subscribe to Sky or read the Sun, the united P.R agencies that fan the flames of the United product.

Thats my choice but many people are happy to keep watching corruption unfold in front of them and pretend it's not happening.

I do have respect for Fergie but i wouldnt want a drink with him, horrible man!

I have another though, since they lost to Barca in the CL final all of their fans seem to think that they are the 2nd best team in the world, these signings will bring us closer to Barca bla bla bla. There are teams like Real Madrid who would also batter them. I don't think they're even the strongest in the EPL.

I know all fans of top clubs have a certain amount of arrogance about them, but man utd seem to have more than anyone else in England at least.

They are champions and currently top of the league so it'd be hard to say they weren't currently the best side. We'll see where everyone is come May though.

I'd argue that perhaps Chelsea and Man City have stronger sides on paper.

I don't think he is actually horrible, people who have met him outside of a footballing environment say he is very nice. But i agree about it being annoying that they think they are the 2nd best team in the world.

I like loads of them, majoritively those who remember the pre-premier league Utd...

The ones I don't like are the ones who live there but never go to the game, know more than everyone else, and are brought up on the success in recent years...they lose one game and it's the end of the world, Fergie out etc etc

Chelsea have a good team on paper because everyone thinks of those players being 5 years younger than they actually are.

A guy who goes to the pub that i drink in used to be a journalist 'oooppp norf' and he got introduced to Fergie in a car park, apparently he refused to shake his hand and grunted at him then walked off, he claims he wasn't after an interview and story.
