This is great news for science - and possibly for mankind (depending on your personal views), so congratulations to the men and women who achieved it, but WTF do we give India any aid whatsoever when they clearly have enough money to spunk away on huge projects like this? https://www.dailymail.co.uk/science...South-Pole-time-beating-Russia-China-USA.html
We had this conversation on here recently But we also send money to China too while we have homeless people and hungry children here It's perverse ! And talking of perverse !! NatWest: Former boss set for £2.4m pay package after Farage scandal - BBC News For a bank that's still 38% or so publicly owned due to their incompetence during the financial crisis of 2008. I hope her payoff is blocked. She doesn't deserve a penny. She's in the wrong and knows it but is getting rewarded for being incompetent.
Perverse is also about the average pay of CEOs increasing from £3million to £4million. I'm no left winger but that is criminal.
So much about the times we live in is perverse and is unfair against the vast majority of right minded people Never mind, get Mr Flip Flop in, pay the RMT, Aslef and the Junior Doctors what they want, fully open our borders, de-criminalise everything, give the NHS £100 billion to spend on gender studies, and put up the tax burden even more on working people, whilst going cap in hand to the EU to be besties again. All this and more coming to a town near you in the next 18 months
India is capable of sending something to the moon but can't build a safe railway system, especially bridges. Why the hell does anyone send them aid?
