Plenty of you guys out there are checking to see what is being posted but comparitively few actually post their view on the issues. Why is that? Shy-I don't think so; scared of a bad response- no way. So come on folks, please widen the response and give us the benefit of your views. ps I know I'm not the most frequent poster so yeah it is pot calling kettle.
Yes we are sometimes criticised for being a bit of an old boys club, oh the same people and its getting boring. It will always be that way unless we get new blood, we all want it so come on. Some have a lot more time on their hands than other's, so are able to post more freqeuntly. I have often wondered if the North East is a 'hotbed for unemployment' when you consider how many have posted as opposed to all the other teams on the prem forum.
Its his sparkling wit and lightning repartee. Is it only the retired, unemployed and socially disfunctional that our on the forum? Well I qualify on two out of three. Any suggestions on what the ideal profile of a forum member would be?
Any-one looking at our board,from the outside,would be jealous,to say the least!!Look at how many articles,and replies,are on our board...and then look at other clubs.Our board,and the Newcastle board are two of the most popular boards ih the country.Why??Because we care about our club,and take a passionate interest!
I reckon I must answer a post maybe twice a week but I must consult this forum 20 times a day, just to keep up with what is going on. It's really just a matter of time. Between two appointments or classes, in the bus or the tram. I consult mainly from my iPhone and it's only when I'm on my computer at home, like now, and I've just finished one translation (before attacking another)and I actually have the time and energy to "participate" that I write in. Please don't hold it against me if I don't write in too often. You are a permanent source of information, nostalgia, emotion and laughter for me.
Hats off to everybody that pops on to the forum, even if only now and then. Its always worth checking out.
