The worst thing for about going out of our most winnable (stretching boundaries maybe) cup tournament was our total lack of effort.
It was almost as if the players were told not to put an ounce of attacking into the game.
Why else was the performance so shocking by all bar maybe Janmaat? Are they trying to get their non-embarrassed boss fired? The fact that he's not embarrassed by it causes me some concern.

It could be that, although a good coach... SM is a bad man manager and some of the arseholes in our team continue to take the piss.
Someone like a Pulis may be a **** coach but as a man manager he wouldn't take any ****.

I thought it was like watching tennis
from one side to another and back again from the back 4
with nothing moving forward, just quitely content to let the opposition get 11 men to defend the ball
 
I see that jermain jenas has put his finger on what the problem is:-

Right. Get ****ing Super Kev and Barton and bunch JachColbach and Anita indefinitely.

I can't believe the amount of fan blaming the club has done recently. Hell, no, we're not in it all together. Us the fans watch the matches, that's it. We make our own living. The club is in trouble because if they serve up this **** and get relegated less and less people will watch the team and they'll make no money.

The team and club on their own. They need to sort their **** out. It's not up to us fans to sort out their crap by any means. This 'us' rhetoric is lame as ****.

They fuked it up. The can fuking fix it.! This mess has got effing fuk all to do with us. They have had loads of money and time to sort this out. This disaster has been steaming over the horizon towards us for 4 years. It doesn't matter who the manager is, their management model does not work and never will here. Players ability is important, but heart and character are way more important. Few of our players have the latter.

It doesn't work because the manager is just another little employee, so no one feels remotely responsible for whats going on.

I like this point, it's quite pertinent. When you have this collective bunch of back-slapping ball-ticklers, it's invariably no-ones fault, subsequently nothing gets really fixed. Secretly they might blame Mike, but they're all - to a man - in lofty positions waaaaaaay above their station, so not one of them is going to risk telling the pie-munching sack of toss.

Maybe one day someone of integrity might be accidentally employed - I'm looking at you, Cathro - and may just say "fck this, stick your compo, where's George Caulkin's number?". Even then I doubt much will change - the owner is a stanch, arrogant, ignorant man with no sense of apathy, no desire to seek a greater good. He wants to be proven right at all costs, there is literally no scenario where he will allow himself to be proven wrong. At some point, Carr might be replaced. Maybe Charnley will give up. McLaren will at some point. Ashley won't. That for me is the depressing lowlight of everything - the catalyst for change is the very thing that won't.

More a case of the players being ****e, than NOT TRYING.
Don't confuse the two.....
 
We sign ****ing useless bottlers. I see Coloccini is calling on the fans to get behind the team in tomorrows programme. **** right off you curly haired, muff diving, lazy, bottle nose c unt. I am sick of ****ing hearing 'get behind us.' I'd like to get behind you alright; in a ****ing bus.

These lowlife, overpaid, cowardly, ****tards need to sort their own **** out. They got us into this position, they can ****ing get us out of it. Lee Charnley has really pissed me off today with his wise words. Perhaps if him and Grandpa Simpson weren't responsible for their clueless recruitment we might have had something to look forward. But no. The bellends are too busy scouring Europe for ****ing potential. Get some ****ing British players in that know what Newcastle United is all about. Either do that, or **** off.
