The mood on here seems pretty dire at the moment - and with good reason. We are playing ****e- no two ways about it. Must admit before we start I don't get to as many matches as I would like but whenever I see the lads (been supporting for 40years) we don't seem to be doing the basics very well. 1. Defending - hoofing it out of defence to the opposition, heading it out of defence to the opposition, trying to pass it out of defence but then to the opposition. 2. Hoofball - no one to pass to so let's hoof it (out of defence / midfield to the opposition). 3. Control - let's smack it as hard as we can to our teammates then watch as it cannons away to the opposition and saunter back and hope someone else gets the ball back. 4. Attack - leave our attackers exposed so even if we do get the ball to him he's still got no one to pass to. 5. Players in each position - make sure our team doesn't have enough players for each position by loaning them to other clubs ( I knwo we have 2 more strikers but i've searched the club and they aren't there! (sarcasm). 6. Sign players who aren't yet fit enough for the league and put them on the bench - if they weren't going to be ready get someone else! Never in all my years have I felt that we are in the ****e as a team and before anyone questions my loyalty to the team I have enjoyed some highs but more lows and have supported them in every division they have been in ( how can we forget MCmen..... or Tom Cowie - it pains me to say these words). We have a talented bunch of players but they is something not right at our club so over to you lads - what magic do we need to save this season as I'm not convinced we can't be relegated if the other teams pick up their ideas. Is there a problem in the dressing room? Do people resent AJs wages (I would on his performances to date) cos he certainly hasnt justified them at the mo? Do the players not want to play for MON? Was John Robertson the brains behind the partnership? Hopefully this isn't the problem and we are just going thru a very very poor run. Confidence is low but hopefully we can muster enough points to retain our premiership status. My other concern is will ES throw in the towel. We should be doing a damn sight better than what we are. On a positive note we are still only one win away from a top half finish. On a negative note can I f*ck see where the next points are coming from. I will still be there next week cheering the lads on and hopefully a win. We are SAFC however so expect to lose against Norwich and turn Man U over.
