Gotta say Spurs look very serious this year. AVB is a top coach with direction and hunger for the game, unlike our bunch at the top. Regardless, they're apparently after Erik Lamela today. Why on earth aren't Arsenal even trying for him? He'd be an excellent signing, who'd take off some of the creative burden from Cazorla.
I think we are after him, but who knows, this summer has been a bit of a damp squib. Spuds have strengthened, but the amount of money they are spending does suggest that Bale will be off.

That sums up Wenger, he never wants the obvious, prefers to find the unexpected star. When it works, it works well, Henry and Vieira. When it doesn't, Gervinho. If manager like Mourinho walked into your club he would address all the obvious problems but then I'm sure you would miss Wenger.
Its because Wenger would only pay over £30 million for players better than what we have which in his opinion are only Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez.
