Handball against us for 1st goal.
Tompkins should have got a 3 match ban for play-acting.
Now a blatant handball results in a sending off for oppo's 'keeper.
    Scandalous.

Apologies, I didn't realise it had to be hot off press news involving us only. Thought the relevance was it was about football and in particular about an appalling refereeing decision. Another which WHU benefit from. Apologies again, my wrist has been slapped, accordingly.

I can forgive this one since the angle of both the ref and the assistant didn't give a view of the handball. The commentators only picked up on it a couple of minutes later on the live coverage.

Fabianski's sending off should be rescinded although it will probably stick like the Derry one against Man U / Young where the wrong decision gets compounded by the panel refusing to implicate officials as being incompetent.

Tomkins' Rivaldo impression should have been retrospectively punished too (although that opens up a whole load of reviews that the waflling farts at the FA don't want to deal with).

We'll probably find that Swansea will appeal the Red Card to the FA of Wales as they come under their jurisdiction, who will rescind it as they have a history (not looked it up so bit of a generalisation) of doing this......

If it goes before the English FA then it will be upheld as there is a precedent with the Sean Derry dismissal that Matt mentions......

Agree, to a degree, re the angle but I shouted handball the minute I saw it and could not believe it when he produced the red.

Charlie deserved his, however. One match ban I am guessing?

Everything I read says a one match ban (although I was worried that it'd take it up to the 5 yellow card mark and add a game). The only thing that sticks, as everyone on the match thread noted, was the similar challenge by Boyd that went unpunished.

Your comments have been ''rescinded''! Apology accepted.

Anyone else on here have an unreasonable dislike towards WHU? Not sure why but their fans really annoy me. May be the whole winning of the world cup thing and their tel no ending in 1966.

Wrong! The FAW hate us - they are heavily biased towards Cardiff. It's a PL matter anyway.

PGF is correct. The (English) FA adjudicate on disciplinary matters for the Swans. Fernandez's red card against Liverpool (League Cup) was overturned by the FA.

Do they? My apologies....Presume it would then be a FA matter as they dealt with Derry's appeal a few season's ago.....If they overturn it you can assume that you have now joined the elite and are considered a big club!!!!!!!!:D

If it is not overturned an Foy is not demoted for one weekend then you should refuse to play your next fixture. Or play with no goalie!

    Scandalous if not rescinded.

They should keep Pearson I feel, but it is the spectre of Pulis and his last year heriocs haunting the lower half clubs - would be funny if they sacked him and ended up with someone like Megson.
