with FIFA's fair play rule the only clubs pretty much in the world rite now with any money will be arsenal! i see tiote is being branded as already out the door but that will cost a club a good 15m ! where will chelsea get that seeing as they owe abromvich (spelling) 70m this season and god knows how much over his period! everyone will be too busy balancing their books instead of lavish signings, we are in a healthy position.

i know you lot will slate me but mike has got it rite with what he is doing, he builds a great scouting network, finds the bargains, brings them in for cheap and builds them up. the only bit we dont like is the selling them on but thats part n parcel with footy guys, lets be thankfull we're not gonna be in a huge amount of trouble next year when those FIFA rules come in and we see clubs scrabbling and panicking when the collectors come knocking at our rivals doors. i dont have faith with the upper management but at least he kinda knows what he's doing. come on guys lets get behind the club and beat arsenal today!!

    HOWAY THAT LADS

i agree with most of it, i just dont agree with you saying we dont like the selliing bit, it not that, its the way the players leave and the timing, if carroll hadnt said he wanted to stay he for ever and we managed to get in a replacment then i would have been fine about it, its the way he did it, that the fact that he did it.
and for ashley i agree, not alot of people understand the business part of football, just the passion, they forget its as much a business now as it is a football club

I know in that statement MA released about his ideas for the club, he said he wanted to build players up and sell them on. People are making out he's doing this now but it's only carroll and probably tiote- but there's nobody else who we're going to sell on for big money.

i think it didnt help that carroll wanted to leave as well. made great buisness sense to sell a 15m striker for 35m but we could of done with a striker as back up! ameobi getting injured didnt help like.

i quite like seeing promising youth come to newcastle, its more exciting then seeing us splash 16m on a has been owen.

You're telling people not to worry. But you're currently generating worry by putting out this article. Tiote is under everyones radar, Enrique hasn't been given the credit he deserves and I doubt the big clubs have even noticed him.

Pardew hasn't helped by saying it will hard to hold onto Tiote.

Come the summer and he will be off and if we hold on Jose it will be a miracle.

Jose is an absolutely outstanding player now compared to years passed.

However he was bought before ashley even took over

Not worried been supporting the toon to long to worry about things concerning the club seen it all before and the toon will roll on and on despite players leaving.

As for Jose read somewhere today that Barton is to sign next week and as soon as he does Jose will commit soon after.

Saw that Barton was in talks about a new contract but that Jose has asked to wait and ensure that we are in the Premiership next season.
