Why are the BBC web posts so negative against us?

I clicked on to the pre match Norwich v Sunderland just to check stats (as I sadly do). After a bit of preamble which I have no problem with they BBC then always have a few stats about each club (players who are going to earn 50 caps) etc, last away win and stuff.

However the BBC ALWAYS seem to find the worst statistics going for Sunderland

    Sunderland

•Sunderland's 4-0 victory over Stoke last weekend ended their four-match winless start to the season.
•The Black Cats have failed to win in their last 13 Premier League matches on a Monday since a 2-1 home victory against Leicester City in April 2002. They have never won in all 11 Premier League away matches on a Monday, according to Infostrada.
•They have been given an unrivalled 15 red cards in the Premier League since 2009/10.
•Nicklas Bendtner has failed to score in his 14 Premier League appearances in 2011.

How negative is that> It's not even balanced.

Now I know we had a bad run after x-mas and others might say we have no good stats

It also reports that Bruce has never had a chicken balti pie after 8pm on a Monday. Far fetched some of these stats.

Most pundits I read or see on the tube are candidates for the window lickers conference, so the verbal diarreha that spills forth about our great club should be ignored. Lawro and his mates, "****** central"......................

Lee Dixon is probably the only 1 on BBC that doesn't belittle us, same goes for Charlie Nicholas on SKY

There is too much negativity about Sunderland & Newcastle on Sky Sports, and BBC.

And,I like the rest of you find it highly annoying. It seems even Boro get abit more praise than us. And they're all ****ers.

I would like to know what makes people against both NE clubs though. There must be some underlying reason.

I think some of it must be down to the fans. I feel that the people at the Beeb and Sky probably laugh at the fans of both our clubs.

Because, lets face it. Whenever it comes to interviewing the locals. They always manage to unearth the most ******ed people to speak too. Look at the crowd David Craig gets on transfer deadline day...he must entice everyone with lines of coke.
