They are saying first we haven't played anyone in top 10, then they are saying the top 5... what's next we haven't played top of the league?....

i am happy to stay an underdog and just keeping beating people in front of us but you have to respect the fact we took points off arsenal, spurs, stoke away ffs and a derby away....

hope we can get 3 points at the weekend then give man city a right good game then see what people say then!

People can say as they please and it won't affect my view of us at all. But I must be honest I think it's funny as hell that the list of teams we need to beat to pass this imaginary 'test' is getting smaller and smaller. I guess all it will take is a win in Manchester to prove it right?

 

aye its getting stupid now like. we've played half the teams in the league and haven't lost for ****s sake. if we lose to any of the manchester clubs or chelsea they'll be saying "see we told you" that'll be every fan outside of manchester and chelsea as we have already taken points off all the big sides outside of those three baring liverfool.

 

We've played Arsenal, we've played Spurs, we've BEATEN Stoke at the Britannia, so by that logic... the only tests are the Manchesters, Chelsea, and the Scousers? Making us the 5th best team in the league?? Yeah, I'll take that thanks.

It does bother me that people can't bring themselves to give the team credit when they deserve it, however it seems to spur us on, so they should probably keep at it .

I said it last night on another article, but are people honestly going to sit there, after we've lost to Man City or/and Man Utd and say "see?! they were ****e all along!" Is the benchmark for a good team the ability to beat the Champions and a team that has spent nearly half a billion pounds?

 

Know why we've only played bottom half of the league teams? Because we put them there!

 

They keep saying the next match is the 'big test', they did it with the Spurs match, they did it with the Stoke match and now they're looking ahead to the Man City match. That's just how they do because I think a lot of them are just bitter having been crowing on about how we would be lucky to avoid relegation.

I can see it now, 'Brilliant City bring soaring Magpies crashing back to earth with a bump' 'Mancini shows Pardew he has a long way to go', BORING, we'll just keep going about our business and having a great time at the top while we're looking down on those who spent hundreds of millions more than us, those who think they're better than us. they're idiots mate. I was reading Brian McNally's twitter and he was saying he thought we'd make Europe and would finish above Sunderland. One Sunderland fan was moaning at him how he was biased cos he hadn't mentioned that Best was offside and Perch should've been sent off!! He also said he was convinced Sunderland would finish above us....

Anyway, the response he got from numerous fans slagging him off was staggering. We're a good team, why are people so bitter about it?

 

Yea lads let's not get ourselves upset over this...so be it, end of the day, we're delighted with the way we're performing and that's enough for me.
