ok ok, lets list all the bad things he's done: handball at the cup to stop ghana going through..... (so what, anyone remember the gyepes rugby tackle ) bit a player whilst playing for ajax patrice evra 'racism' (not really racism according to the panel) diving (feck me, how many players have done that, even england internationals??) this biting incident why the feck do you biased media have it in for the lad?????? i remember welbeck of man u did a disgusting diving earlier this season.....noone bats a eyelid, suarez dives then all of a sudden he's ruining the game.... now this, and people are hounding him out of the country............ rooney has done umpteen things that bring the name and brand of man u into disrepute. why arent they hounding him out of the country..... apart from bale he's the best player in the league, so why the **** should liverpool sell him?????
They have to control him otherwise every youngster will want to emulate him. You just can't munch on the opposition. It's not cricket!!!
If you seen that video Swamp, you can help but go WTF? Is he that thick that he doesn't understand that football is on international TV and there was no way he was going to be able to bite somebody without somebody noticing. I think that is more the problem with the guy. Biting somebody is bad enough, but what is going through his brain when he does in the circumstances he did it in. It then makes you wonder what else he would do. He is the last person (well besides Joey Barton) that I would want to ever see playing at Cardiff!
I agree with this completely. He's no angel but he's no different to many other footballers. I'd absolutely love him to play for us he's the best player in the league and makes me want to switch my TV on more than any other PL player. If he starts breaking peoples legs or touching kids I'll understand the desire to drive him out of the country with burning torches. As Swamp says the racism thing is still debateable as it was concluded to be as much a matter of language/interpretation as actual racism. I don't know the story as I don't know what is standard practice in Uruguay for referring to people of African/carribean origin. Understand why people don't like him, but I just find the media band wagon that is rolling against him a little too much. Before anyone says it I know he could be seen to have 'brought it upon himself'.
Let's face it, we are not talking of the high end of society when we discuss almost any player. In front of the door for football skills, behind it for everything else.......so what can one expect, especially when they are showered with money. We have all done things in the heat of the moment....it's just that his life seems to be littered with heated moments!!!
Agree with the above, he is obviously a ******, has more teeth than a Ferrari gearbox, but can kick a bag of air around to an exceptional standard. Therefore make an example of him, when I was in school we would have had 6 of the best for this kind of incident and another 6 when we got home, so going on that rationale, a 12 match ban should suffice.
There was a Liverpool fan (from south of England - ) on Talksport yesterday who couldn't see anything wrong with Suarez' actions - "no worse than anything else that goes on" - deluded or what. Or as someone said to me yesterday, "Possibly 4 or 5 generations ago, Suarez ancestors might have been running round the jungle waving shrunken heads at each other so what do you expect?" Up to Liverpool whether they sell him or not to take the moral high ground - Shankley and Paisley would have got shot of him pronto - but he must be in line for a hefty ban. 9 to 12 games so varying media reports say today.
Saurez makes it easy for the press to hound him, I agree he is being treated badly by the press but hope the FA give him an appropriate punishment. I remember the press hounding Bellamy for his golfing exploits whilst at Liverpool...
We must have gone to completely different schools. I'd have got a good kick in at mine... before the teachers knew anything about it
