& Why? Mine is the Magic Man - Paul Merson. Saw his debut and watched some of the unbelievable things he did, including an amazing chip on a muddy pitch when it was pissing it down in winter against Hereford (I think). p.s. Let's try to avoid the likes of Henry, Cesc etc. or any player who is still strutting his trade.
In all seriousness mine was Vieira beacause he had so much steel, finesse, drive, passion, hunger coupled with fantastic technical ability. Oh, heard he had a schlong too. Yummy x
Bergkamp because growing up watching him and his skills made me love football. Some of his goals are truely out of this world. Another couple of players of note who i always had a soft spot for: Ian Wright (not so much nowdays) and the almighty David Seaman.
Tony Adams Started and ended his career at the club. Epitomised George Graham's side that I grew up supporting. Brilliant captain, great leader. He is exactly what we are missing at the moment!
We have enough flair players. We lack leaders, we lack big physical players, we lack the aggressive winning mentality. We could do with a few Tony Adams types!
