Ok so I'm going to try and lighten the mood, So everyone's got one, a family member who supports "another team" like an uncle from Ashby who supports the rams etc! Anyway, a couple of years ago after we had lost heavily to Forest my dad, bless him, turns round to me and tells me that's he's actually a forest fan, bloody hell my jaw hit the ground! I mean I knew he is from Nottingham originally but I always assumed he had more sense and supported Notts County! I do still talk to him though To compound matters my wife also supports Swindon, glad I didn't know her in 93 ! Have a great Xmas fellow foxes, and also to our extended family from Hull and Leeds
My dad and all the family on his side support Forest. My girlfriend is a (plastic) United fan, although she has been to the Walkers/KP a few times - but never Old Trafford of course.
My wife hates football all together, and supports the Saints in rugby. I told her if she didnt support the foxes, she could at least support the Tigers
On a similar note it never ceases to amaze me when people support another "local" team even though they are Leicestershire born and bred and also have no family allegiance to their team of choice. For example there is a good few lads who live in Ibstock who are Forest supporters, they have no idea why!!! This whole thing doesn't bother me, just confuses me.
I love people who have an auxiliary team to support. My cousin is a Forest fan, but when things are going well (like now) he's an Arsenal fan!
Got a cousin who supports Man U. All the rest of my family are Leeds. Merry Christmas to you lot too.
of my 4 brothers, 2 of them are brighton, 1 everton and 1 united. Dad is a fox hence why I am. Currently converting the missus.
I reger to Saints as the little club down the road. Love walking round Northampton (unfortunately I live there now) in Tigers shirt. And they're proper name is the aints Ain't going to win anything
