Stevee is this meant to be a single or multiple choice since I could place several ticks. I personally would go for the sum of the signings as opposed to the individual elements but if you like and based on my discovery above, I may just go with my thoughts on this. I'm leaving out the youngsters since their contribution will not be at the greatest at this time. Also, I don't know Santos but overall I'm a happy gooner especially with last night's two signings. BTW you missed out Yossi Benayoun or does the poll not cover loanees? Cheers
I thought it would be best to cover just completed signings not loanee's. Just wanted to get peoples opinion. i left it as multiple choice as for me santos,met and arteta were great signings for positions we needed depth in so well done wenger and co for pulling these off
ive picked gervinho hes been very good for us in the games hes played, but i would also have picked metesacker made a thread about him 3-4 weeks ago and got shot down by most and hes leading the poll so far
I think Santos will be a great signing. We have not had proper cover here in years... since you know who left. His attacking prowess is also noted.
I reckon it's Gervinho. He has shown a glimpse of his talent, but unfortunately get got that supid red card at Newcastle. There is more to come from him surely. Mertesacker can make the difference against the Rugby teams like Stoke, but he will struggle against the pacy forwards. All in all a good signing. Arteta could be a key-signing, but only if he stays fit and is consistently performing at a high level.
