As this board is quiet, who do you consider to be the best and worst pundits on television, here are my choices - Best - Gary Neville, Graeme Souness. Worst - Jamie Redknapp, Phil Thompson, Alan Hansen.
This thread exemplifies everything that is wrong with the modern day, stay at home and watch it on Sky, glory-hunting, "football fan" (and I use that term very loosely) Meth, has it ever occurred to you to actually go to a football match? Because if you did, you'd realize that really nobody gives a **** about "pundits"! It's all about being there, watching it live, the atmosphere, the piss-up in the pubs beforehand, the travelling to away matches, etc, things that Sky and its "pundits" can never get across to you... You're everything that's wrong with "football fans" today, and the saddest thing is that you don't even know it. (Now go on, tell me to "Bore off")
Garth crooks. Andy Townsend. them 2 make me want to set fire to the tv and kick my Mrs dog until it bleeds from it's anus.
Not quite sure what you are getting worked up about. Do you include the 'modern football fan' that watches MoTD, or use to watch the odd game on the BBC or ITV back in the day?? Do you include the Utd fans that will watch the City Chelsea game on sunday, because they are not going to go the game to sample the atmosphere and get pissed in the pub before hand? I know Matt annoys the crap out of people with his constant posting, but your rant is a little off the mark. And for what it's worth Andy Townsend talks utter bollocks as a pundit.
