Belfodil not coming now. So who is left with 24 hours to go. The one's that I was hoping for at the beginning of the window have already moved. Can only be a loan at this late stage surely. Is Harry Kane going to be one ( not excited), surely Hitchcock must come back, is Petrasso good enough to cover?
    What do others think.

its easier not to bother and don't get stressed rather than sit all day watching SSN.

I might put the last hour on just to see who gets locked out of LR and to laugh at the Stoke chavs.

in would think we need at least 2 CF with Austin out and a CB/FB.

I'm not convinced that Rhodes won't be coming... Or is that deluded hope?

Agree utter disgrace it has been left until now IMO Belfodil not coming now ... wage demands ... FFS why not find out what he wants before you do the deal with the clubs who own him!
Must be more to it than the reports ... if not then QPR look very stupid to the fans IMO

    Underwhelming Thursday!

I guess it will all be last minute again.

You do have to wonder how much of this is orchestrated so that Sky can have their crews at various grounds for the last evening of transfer deadline day.

Another bit of bad new Bradley Johnson gets his three match ban overturned whilst Remy red card stands. I hate Bradley Johnson cheating scum.

Being the cynic that I am I would say that this whole bloody transfer window thing is done for their benefit......the thing is a farce....

I agree. If transfer business was done properly, in a sensible business like manner, there would be hours and hours of TV that Sky would have to fill with something else.

This is like a game of musical chairs going down to the wire - wish we could have got our transfer business wrapped up earlier in the month like other clubs, e.g. Huddersfield, Burnley etc.

both did exactly the same thing except Johnson faked getting headbutted. if anything it should have been the other way round. I bet they uphold rose red as well.

the selling teams know they will get more the longer they hold out unless its a SWP or zamora type player no one wants.

I've watched that one a few times in slo-mo and Rose got the ball and the other guy tripped over him. That incident totally turned around the potential outcome of that match (like the Derry/Dung episode at Man Utd) - red card > penalty > goal > playing rest of match with 10 men. Awful ref decision.

Nothing cynical about that, its a fact, its entertainment. You'll be watching/listening/following on line tomorrow just like me at this artificially generated 'excitement'. Only thing I wish is that they would shorten the whole thing to about 4 days.

Really think Harry has bitten off his nose despite his face over Adel. Come tomorrow night that could be a very very costly mistake.
I can only imagine the panic at HQ now. I hope they don't make a panic buy like crouch.

With Charlie out a long time we need 2 strikers. One of them should be a good target man to get on the end of the increasing number of good crosses now coming into the box, especially from Phillips - Crouch for the rest of this season would be right on the money for me. Don't know too much about Rhodes but his record suggests I agree with the rest of you!

We also need another RB, a CB too unless Donaldson is ready to fill in if necessary.

Ah well Nuts, good to know we don't agree on much! Mind you I wouldn't want Crouch for more than the rest of the season as a short term replacement for Charlie only, so probably a loan or short term contract only.

He's not a goal scorer mate. Never has been. We're struggling to score enough as it is. Even on a loan and just covering his wages, he'd be too expensive. Not for me

He scores when he gets the right service, which now we seem better able to give him. To cover for Charlie and get another good striker in we are probably going to have to spend money now.
