HOT this weekend Charlton Athletic West Ham United Jockey Rachael Blackmore NOT hot this weekend Jose Mourinho Millwall Palarse
NOT hot this weekend Line of Duty - not a patch on previous series and seems to have descended into self-parody
These 'great' cutting edge thrillers / dramas all seem to descend into soap opera territory in the end. And most go on for one season longer than they should. Only occasionally does the creator of really good TV pull the plug when it's at it's height.
This may apply to "The Unforgotten", who just killed off Nicola Walker. She would be a very hard act to follow.
Strange decision that one. In 1977 the BBC was already blowing it's 50p per month Sci-Fi budget on Dr Who. ITV showed them how it should be done - first with Sapphire & Steel, then by re-booting Quatermass with John Mills.
Another honourable mention to the dons, who beat Ipswich 3-0 tonight. The Wombles had 6 academy players in their team.
HOT... Big Sam's West Brom... could they still escape relegation? NOT... The England womens' football team
HOT... Coventry City! Just done Barnsley, looks like they will stay up. NOT... Derby County and their new crook owners. Heading for League One - with or without Rooney? DEFINITELY NOT... Sheffield Wednesday
NOT... Line of Duty (again) and the woke leftie BBC......after tonight's episode we are apparently being told that the last 5 series of Line of Duty all have their origins in the racist murder of a black teenager (whose first name happens to be Lawrence) by a gang of 5 white youths and the corrupt and institutionally racist Police force, sorry service, have covered it up
Didn't Yann try the same thing for Leicester in the play-offs? With the same result. Their fans never forgave him, which was our good fortune.
