Considering the tickets are fairly reasonable, still think they'll be around 8-9k there tonight Any of you going to the game?
Moi. I heard 7k rumoured this morning, seems to have risen to 8k on here though.... Still a fairly poor turn out!
I think we should be getting at least 10 -11k minimum for these games IMO. I do think we could have a good cup run this year, and also with a few of the bigger teams in the Premiership having some tough games we could do better than we expect I think they'll be a few goals tonight too, Big Nick to score and maybe Faye from a set piece
Never got why people wouldn't attend these, if you support your team surely you go to every game you can? Give the decent price, i don't see any excuse not to.
Looking forward to tonight.. dont know why but I am expecting a good performance from the 2nd string team, especially up top!
I don't understand it at all. There is always the odd person who can't make a game for good reasons but for half the crowd to disappear just because it's a cup game seems ridiculous to me. So what if it isn't our 1st team? It's pretty much the same team that played all of last season and 18,000 people still came pretty regularly to those games. People complain about the magic of the cups being lost but don't turn up. The games are played in massive, empty stadiums and people complain that the players don't seem up for it? Go and support them then ffs!
This morning the KC ticket office said they expect 5-8k tonight. Getting to 8000 will depend on how many walk ups there are. Udders have only sold just over 400 so far. Cup apathy again but i shall be at the game regardless.
The game will be hard pressed to be as poor as the Orient game though. That was truely awful. I really hope that Big Nick can keep banging them in. The Udders team wont be that strong either by all accounts. I would be happy with another home draw in round 4 against the winner from either Burnley-Forest OR Leicester-Derby. In saying that, IF massive IF TWS win @ Newcastle tommorow night then Leeds Utd @ home would be a grand game to have.
Only downside is that I haven't managed to get my own seat, but I'm still quite close to my usual view At least the queue for a pie and pint at half time won't be as bad
Yes and it will take a longtime for it to be forgotten. Thank the good lord that you did not attend it. Hope for better tonight. It wont be hard.
That ****ing ticket office. Most uninterested unhelpful ****s going. The mrs went up this afternoon to get the tickets, says oh Chazz's seat number and sons are xxxx. Bitch says "so dont need it its not full". Yes say mrs but can i have the same two seats if it isnt too much trouble!! Shrugs uumph sighs presses a few buttons and says with a look of triumph "they've gone". Appalling customer service, as usual
I would be going had it been here in 'uddersfield. Going to have to listen on the old wireless I think, unless somewhere on the interweb there is a stream... Also, after going on a pub crawl last night, i'm not in the finest of conditions...
Maybe it was just your name that caused all the angst especially if she is as abrupt as you are. I find the ticket office very helpful and obliging actually.
I aren't going The Mrs decided her Tuesday night Zumba was more important. This is definitely credit in the bank for some away trips!!
Ditto The Capital One Cup never generates much interest these days - maybe if we got to the semis....
