A great result last night and it should give us the confidence to now get a win against Hull. They are long overdue a beating and after our abysmal performance against them in the FA Cup, its time for the boys to put on another decent performance. The Jimmy Bullard issue will not become one as he wont be travelling up so there will be nothing for their home crowd to get arsey about. It will be another tough test for our boys but again we have nothing to fear and they have had more draws than Marks & Spencers lately!

I will be making the trip up to the KC, more in expectation than hope for a change! We need to finish strongly to get as high up the table as we can, too much to do for the play-offs but a top 10 place is still very much on track.

My prediction is for a 2-0 Town win.

Going for a decent match and either a 2-1 win to the Town or a 1-1 draw. Really see Chops scoring at their place and yes they certainly deserve a beating. Have we beaten them recently, I'm struggling to think if we have. I remember sitting in the cold watching Robert Koren score an 80th (or something like that) winner when we had Ke*no in charge.

The last time we beat Hull was in 2007/08 when we played them at Portman Road in the final game of the season. It was a blazing hot day and to be honest they looked pretty ordinary but they went up that year so what do I know! <laugh>

4 of us going jonny and its going to be a tough one as always but confidence should be high and nothing to fear after our recent results against West Ham, Cardiff, and Saints. I remember that freezing day KOPR what a terrible match, but I think we are a now a far better side so its all to play for, cant wait.

We're outplaying everyone(apart from the first half against Blackpool, when we were really poor), but not managing to score against them, it's starting to get a bit tedious.

Someone's going to get a tonking sooner or later, we're rather hoping it will be you on Saturday(nothing personal). <ok>

If you think it was bad console yourself with this thought. That was the first goal I saw us score since we'd lost 4-1 to Burnley, in the April. It was something like 10 games I'd been to in that time, which with a 500+ mile round trip for home games without even seeing us get a goal is depressing. Also spare a thought for the guy sat next to me, he'd managed to miss all our goals that season, and went to toilet just before Koren scored so he missed that one as well.

This season it's starting to feel the same, only without the frustration of having missed loads of 2-0 victories. As OLM says, it's ridiculous how many chances we're missing. In the last 3 months Fryatt has scored 1 league goal, and McLean hasn't scored in the league so you'd better fear our strike force. <doh>

We were three points behind second placed Stoke with a superior goal-difference. If we'd won and they'd lost, we'd have gone up automatically. On the other hand, the likelihood of that happening was slim and so we were pretty much consigned to the play-offs. So, in other words, the players were simultaneously under the pressure of trying to win in the hope of avoiding the play-offs, but at the same time they knew they had another 2/3 massive games coming up and so were trying to avoid injury. They weren't going to strain themselves against a mid-table side in what was effectively a meaningless friendly.
