Following his exploits today he's probably not going to be all that welcome as WBA this week. With the normal transfer window closing most places tonight he's going to be left with 3 options: 1) Slum it at WBA for the rest of the season 2) Find a club with an open transfer window that will sign him. 3) Drop to the Championship til the summer Surely with his ability there's going to be a Championship club in the promotion/playoff battle with a manager that thinks they can sort out his sulking and get some performances from him between now and the end of the season. Especially as it would need to be an emergency loan, and that means after 28 days they could terminate the loan without having any more cost.
My guess is that QPR will have him on loan. Redknapp, while acting innocent to the press, have been a right crook with this transfer.
Do you think QPR will opt for relegation? Who would you suggest takes their position for half a season in the premier league?
They can't, that's why it's not an option in the original post. The loan window only applies to Football League rules. Until June PL clubs are now restricted to their current squads, and any players who were out of contract at 11pm when the window closed.
Would we really want a twat like that in the dressing room and maybe upsetting the closeness of the team? I certainly wouldn't!!
The Baggies statements today suggest they plan to keep playing him, so despite yesterdays farce, I'm not sure he's actually going to be available on loan.
There is absolutely NO CHANCE of Odemwingie been loaned to a Championship club. He's an arrogant tosser (did you see the interview with him in his car yesterday) and wouldn't accept such a move. What has his agent been doing to get in this mess??
Hoping the FA can find something to charge this "player" with, and I feel sorry for Steve Clarke - he now has to put this poisionous, vile excuse of a "sportsman" back into his squad and hope that his attitude does not affect the others (unless the club can find a way legally to withhold his wages until the end of the season - then tell him to stay away from anything to do with that club)
No he doesn't, he could make him train with the youths if he really wanted to. Just like Phil Brown did with Folan (IIRC) lol.
