there have been rumours about a number of teams buying players like maguire and robertson from us, but some are just daft. no player wants to spend seasons sitting on benches, but why the hell would someone like maguire want to join leicester when others such as spurs and liverpool have been touted?

If we still owe Spurs a payment for mason then I'd say Harry's off to Wembley again?

What makes you think he's remotely interested in signing for Leicester?

Spurs remain massive favourites (the odds are currently 1/3), with Liverpool, Everton and Southampton all on shorter odds than Leicester.

He'd be best at Liverpool. Klopp plays a style of football that would suit his game - plus they have a worse defence than Spurs so he'd more likely get more games.

Given the interest in Maguire, what does everyone think about his value? Hopefully not the usual £10m by our inept Vice Chairman.

In terms of values, it depends on whether players have certain clauses in their contracts. There are known to be relegation release clauses, champions league team clauses etc.

I know you are being sarcastic, so to be clearer, a particular sale value if a team competing in the Champions League comes in for them,

    Ah
Sorry I wasn't being sarcastic actually, and to be honest I hadn't thought of that as a clause

I just read it at face value and assumed another stupid Ehab action!

Harry is still on his original contract isn't he? Can't see that having a relegation release clause in it considering he was a rookie in PL terms when he signed it.

Anyone else heard the rumor that at the weekend they're all playing with little price tags on each of their shirts saying 10 million pounds or nearest offer.

Was in Perth last night (**** one in Scotland not the good one in Aus) and was talking to a barman who is good friends with Snodgrass, he tells me that Snoddy was telling him that Robbo was defo off to liverpool, he also said he was a bit gutted but not surprised to get hammer when he played us. Think Liverpool are the most sensible move for Robbo, given they have no decent left backs, but think he may struggle to make himself first choice. Genuinely think Maguire could go almost anywhere and make a good fist of it, Poch was playing 3 CBs for a while this season, but reverted for the run in as their back ups after Alderwiereld and Vertonghen aren't that good, if he's going to play Dier in cm he'd be 3rd choice and certainly stating plenty of games with CL football as well.

Would imagine there will be some spanish and italian clubs up for Abel, but we won't get our fee back for him, I reckon any bottom half or promoted clubs would be interested in Clucas, Hudd and Grosicki.

    Sadly we're stuck with Elmo.
