Louis Saha - Jack Rodwell - Tim Cahill: All injured or returning from injury, so together with the injuries we have, perhaps we can play this one on a level playing field?

I have a gut feeling about this match and we have been playing some great football throughout this season, but since Blackpool at home we seem to have gone up an extra level. (only to crash and burn against the scum ...). Further, if we are a top 6 team we ought to be able to take out Everton -simple! Not just beat them but avenge some of Goodison's more forgettable past scorelines.

We have a team that can trounce them, we have a significantly improved midfield, our defence earlier this season was impressive and we can score goals. Above all else its about freakin time we tore a new 'ars-hole' in a team that has frequently embarrassed us in previous fixtures.

Lets dish it back cold and clinical please Bruce, we ought to be able to dole out a damn good spanking.

Its about time we got something against Everton, its long overdue.
Is it true Cahill is injured ? if so thats a massive boost.

I agree to the sentiment, and we have a team that SHOULD thrash them, but we always seem to have terrible games there. I'll be happy with a draw, but hoping for a win!

My favourite ever away games was at Goodison, the first time we went up under Reid, and came back down.

Everton had beaten Southampton 7-1 the week before so we went down thinking 'well we'll have a good night out in scouse after..'

Mickey Bridges grabbed 2 in a 3-1 win, i pulled, and we never got charged for the train home.

Won't be there Saturday, which is a shame, a it's one of the best away days despite the appaling view, but i think we can recreate that scoreline.

Gyan to get 2 in a 3-1 win? I'd snap your hand off.

I'm the same mate, i strongly fancy us for this one.

Everton will try and play us, that may well be our way into them.

    And no Cahill is massive.
