Close run thing between City & Liverpool but I think Liverpool's momentum will see them through and its Sunderland, Norwich and a close call between Cardiff and Fulham but I think Fulham will just sneak survival
Liverpool looking good for the title. Fulham's run in looks quite decent for them. City surely have to get 9 points as I cannot see us getting anything from Chelsea if they need to win to win the title. Can't see Swansea & Villa or in fact WBA being in it but Norwich and S'land look in danger. Everyone talks of Norwich's vaunted run in but they are not definite to lose all 4. S'land have hope with 2 games in hand and having to play some teams around them. They were unlucky v Everton. Still think we'll drop but with S'land and Norwich as Fulham look good for the escape.
Sunderland have Man City away on Wednesday and Chelsea away on Saturday. Lose those 2 and they will be as good as down. Probably us and Norwich for the other spots but if we can win the next 2 we will put real pressure on all those around us. Fulham are a long way from getting out of the woods with Spurs away on Saturday but then 3 easier games.
Bluey - is there such a thing in this division? Hull, Stoke and Palace sounds pretty cool on the face of it, but I wonder. I don't think Bruce's Hull will roll over, and they'll be lucky to come back from the Britannia with anything at all. Having to take on Pulis for their last game is going to be a cruncher.
I'd be worried the survival party might have started at Palace by then. Players already on holiday mentally. I know Pullis wont accept that, but they will almost certainly be mathematically safe by then. Fulham have got a few results but they've been a long way off convincing in the process. Stoke away is a very tough game (almost as hard as Saints ). If we're staying up I think Norwich, Fulham and Sunderland will have to be the 3 below us. Title - I hope Liverpool win it but I've got a feeling Chelsea are going to nick it. To be fair it really is still there for any of the top 3, whilst it's 'in Liverpool's hands' I think if any of them are good enough to win all their remaining games they will end up champions. There'll be a few a few surprises at both ends of the table before the season is done.
Those would be my three as well right now if we're to survive, though if the Swans don't get a win at Newcastle and Brom lose at Man City next weekend, things could still change.
DJ - for Chelsea to win it, they'd probably need the 3 points off us last game - that could put us down unless we can get 6 or 7 points before then.
It will be much better if they've already lost it and have a CL final to stay fit for. Fly into a few challenges early and get them wondering if it's worth it.
I think it's City's title - I think Mourinho will pull a fast one on Liverpool and then City will win their remaining games. Wouldnt bet against Liverpool, but I would make City (extremely slight) favourites owing to the fact they have all been through it before and all the pressure is on Liverpool ATM. Relegation: I will say Sunderland are gonners (although I appreciate that was being said about us last week) - they have too many very difficult fixtures left to pick up the points they need. I would also say Norwich are all but gone, as their fixture list is looking like a 0 pointer and its unlikely that neither us or Fulham will catch them. The 3rd spot is the point where my head says us, but my heart wont allow it to, so I will say WBA will be the 3rd spot - Fulham IMO have turned a corner, and WBA have had some rotten luck recently and conceded lots of late goals, and have some toughies coming up - I think our best chance is if they continue on a downward spiral.
