Steve Bruce has hinted there could be more departures from Sunderland after Steed Malbranque signed for St Etienne. Bruce has been active in the transfer market this summer - signing nine players - as he looks to build on the squad that finished 10th last term. I can't imagine that is true about Ferdinand being on 50k a week.
